Whooo Cares     Be Here Now

Its working

I quite enjoy the progress that I have been making as of late. It all stems from committment to nutrition. I can lift all the weight I want, but if there is no stability with nutrition, the rest is for nothing. I ended a 36 hour fast yesterday and as I stepped upon the scale this morning, the number on the scale is decreasing! I have also decreased my body fat 3% in a matter of 3 weeks. I am closer to the goal. I am thouroughly satisfied. Now, I am 3lbs away from my immediate goal weight.

For women, our body recomposition really depends on hormonal balance. It is clear that my hormornes are working in a way that will assist in the reduction of body fat. While evolutionalrily, it is necessary to keep a certain amount of fat (I will be satisfied with 18%) it is important to realize the importance of hormonal balance and the way the hormones play into the utilization of current fat stores. Some supplements that I am taking that help with that are BCAA’s and 7 Keto-DMAE. BCAAs are necessary when working out in a fasted state. It is important to take these because when the muscles are looking for fuel to operate their functioning, they have these sort of skeletons of amino acids that they may actively convert to the source they need them to be. Of course this is better than breaking down the muscle for fuel. We want to use those fat stores instead.

On another note, the muscle-power-burn workout is becoming greatly successful and I am on my way to completing a proper clean and jerk by breaking up the movements and focusing on each muscle group seperately. I want to be able to complete that particular olympic lift with elegance and perfection. The way I am breaking it up is like this: Leg day, back day and shoulder day. With abs done properly too. And handstands. Yay.
